Why use video sharing?
You don’t have to know in advance that you want to use video in your phone conversation – you can add it whenever you want during a voice call and then drop out when you no longer need it.
With the Nokia E51 it’s as simple as selecting “video” from the camera’s mode and starting pressing “stop” when you’ve finished. Your voice call’s still active, but you can start and stop the video whenever you need to.
Typical situations where video sharing can be very useful include:
- house-hunting – call your partner and give them a guided video tour
- share your new presentation with a colleague and get their feedback
- lost on the way to a party? Show your friends where you are to get directions
