All your multimedia

A world of entertainment packed into your pocket

Mobile devices with Symbian are so convenient. Pictures, video, music and radio – it's all there and with Symbian you can do so much more.

Picture taking and viewing made easy

With Symbian, imaging is straightforward and viewing your photos is intuitive and flexible. For that quick snap just point the camera and click. Your device's automated camera will look after all the settings, add date and time, choose the file size and even, if you wish, tag your image with your location, to make it easy to organise your images later. When you need more control, use features like red-eye reduction, white balance, color tone and sharpness adjustment – all accessed quickly through the on-screen toolbar.

The same convenience and high performance applies to shooting video too. High resolution widescreen (16:9) recording quality makes your footage appear sharp and flow smoothly on your widescreen TV.

Editing on the device brings added convenience. Now there's no need to transfer files to a PC to fine-tune your images and videos. And when your image is perfect, share it straight from the device to your online social networking account or with friends in your phone book.

The fast track to your music

Your music is always ready to go. The built-in music player lets you play music stored on your device or downloaded from your music store. You can also access a vast world of music and video streamed straight from the internet, as well as podcasts that you can schedule for automatic downloading.

Meanwhile, your device's FM radio makes it easy to listen to your favourite station with auto-tuning and up to 20 pre-set stations. Rounding out the Symbian multimedia experience is the voice recorder. This tool lets you record quick notes to yourself or longer recordings of meetings or lectures.

Play movies and videos or stream content

With Symbian Media Player you can play and control your locally stored 'media clips' and remotely located 'media streams'. Just convert your DVDs on your PC and transfer them to your device to enjoy them when you're travelling. You can also view the details of a media file or send a video clip to another device via MMS, email, Bluetooth, or infrared.
